Syracuse Orange 2014 Football Schedule Revealed


The Atlantic Coast Conference revealed the dates of conference football schedule today so Syracuse 2014 schedule is now complete.   The Orange will host six games at the Carrier Dome and will visit opposing stadiums five times.  There is one neutral game again this season at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ against Notre Dame.

Syracuse will play a total of eight teams that qualified for bowl games in 2013 and have a four-game home stand that starts in September and stretches into October.  The Orange will open up the season against Villanova on August 30th.  The open ACC conference play at home against Louisville on October 3rd, a rare Friday night game that will be nationally televised on an ESPN station.

Syracuse will also face current National Champion Florida State in the Dome on October 11th.  The Orange have two bye weeks – September 6th and then nine weeks later on November 15th.
