Syracuse Still Stuck Behind Arizona in Both Polls

The Syracuse Orange are still ranked second in both the Associated Press Poll and the USA Today Coaches’ Poll.

The Orange (14-0) are ranked second in the AP poll for the fifth straight week. They received 1,550 points and one first place vote. They are ranked second the Coaches’ Poll for the fourth straight week after receiving 761 points and only one first place vote. The Arizona Wildcats (15-0) remain first in both polls for the fifth straight week.

The Orange went 2-0 last week, beating Eastern Michigan at home and taking down Miami at home in their first ever ACC game. The Orange are the only ACC team in the top ten. Duke is the only other ACC team in both polls, ranking 16th in the AP and 13th in the Coaches’.

The Orange play on Tuesday night in Blacksburg, Virginia against the Virginia Tech Hokies. Tip is at 9 p.m.
