The undefeated Syracuse Orange stayed put in both this week’s Associated Press and USA Today Coaches’ Polls.
The Orange (11-0) are ranked second in the AP Poll for the third straight week. They earned 1,528 points, trailing only Arizona’s 1,623. The Orange also received two first-place votes, the only team other than the Wildcats to get any.
For the second straight week, the Orange are ranked second in the coaches’ poll with 753 points. They also received one first-place vote. Arizona is on top of the coaches’ poll and has been at the top of both polls for the past three weeks.
Duke and North Carolina are the only ACC teams other than Syracuse who are ranked in the polls. The Blue Devils are ninth in both polls and the Tar Heels rank 19th in both.
The Orange’s next game is this Saturday against undefeated Villanova, who ranks eighth in the AP Poll and 11th in the coaches’.
