Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Wreck Syracuse Orange

I haven’t had a chance to watch the entire travesty yet and will have a full breakdown on Sunday, but I definitely can say I was shocked.  Georgia Tech defeated Syracuse 56-0 in one of the worst losses in Syracuse football history. It’s hard to find a football game where a team does everything wrong.

Syracuse couldn’t run the ball.  Couldn’t throw the ball.   Couldn’t stop the run.  Couldn’t stop the pass even though there were only three.   Couldn’t get off a punt.  Couldn’t avoid stupid penalties.

Anything else?

I wouldn’t want to be in the film room this week when head coach Scott Shafer goes over every play.   It’s going to be just as bad the second time through.  Although Terrel Hunt was bad again, it makes no sense to keep going back to Drew Allen.  What’s the point of using Allen?  To make him feel better about coming here?  It’s not going to help the program and it’s not going to help Hunt.

Here is the ACC Digital Recap…if you can stomach even watching the highlights again. Back to the drawing board for the Orange and hopefully they can avoid having an embarrassment like that happen again. (Although Florida State is still on the schedule)
